New Updates to Field & Seed Plans!
Advantage Acre is continuously trying to advance its platform by developing new features and improving upon features already within the program. Although we are working on many brand new exciting features that are soon to come this spring, there will be an improved Field Plan & Seed Plan update installed in March.
The new Field Plan has every grower management decision available in six easy buttons.
- Tillage
- Crop Protectant
- Fertilizer
- Irrigation
- Harvest
- Other Record
Just click on the desired operation, fill in the blanks, and have your plan put into motion by viewing it in Field Records or the popular Timeline that incorporates temperature, precipitation, crop growth stage, and growing degree days.
The Seed Plan has also been improved in a number of ways: 
- First – you will be able to choose up to five hybrids for a field and designate what percentage of the field that hybrid will be on.
- Second – the Variable Rate legend has been improved to distinguish natural breaks, giving you a clearer picture of rate and population changes.
- Third – for fixed seeding rate applications, there are testing blocks available for those that aren’t sure about variable rate but would still like to test.
- Along with a few other updates.
Both the Field and Seed Plans have optional financial pieces being added to them to help growers calculate expenses and profit.
