If you have been under the Account page in Advantage Acre recently, you may have noticed a new tab called ‘Seasons’. This is a new feature that will allow the user to select which fields they would like to appear in a certain growing season. This will clean up the user’s account from one year to the next, to ensure that only the fields that are relevant for that growing season are the ones that will appear.
To access the Seasons tab, click on the ‘Account’ button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, and click on Seasons all the way to the right.

The user will then see a series of steps numbered 1, 2, and 3 to follow to move fields from one year to another. First, select which year you want to export fields from, and which year you want them to appear. This can happen both from previous years to future years, or future years to previous years.
After that, you can select if you would like the crop that the field was planted to for transfer as well, or simply leave the box unchecked if those fields will be planted to a new crop. Then, either select all Growers to transfer, or select only certain growers to transfer. The user can also click on the arrow next to the grower to expand the farms and field names to select individual farms or individual fields.
Once all of the fields are selected that you wish to migrate, click on the ‘Migrate Fields’ button on the lower right-hand side of the screen. The user will then be prompted to confirm the Migration by selecting yes or no.

Once you have completed this step, it should only take a few seconds for the field to migrate to the selected year. A window will pop up as soon as the migration piece is completed that will prompt you to refresh the account to finalize the field migration.
One important thing to note: if a field appears under a year you do not wish to see it, the user can simply delete that field or grower. This will only delete the field and data for that year specifically. If the field has been migrated to another year, it will remain there. Also, if a migration is done under seasons, it will not remove a field from a particular year, but a copy of the field. That way you can be assured your data will remain where it needs to be.
