Intern of the Week: Tyler Currey
Tyler is completing his second summer internship with Producers Hybrids and is enjoying reconnecting with the growers and dealers that he met last year.
Although Tyler didn’t grow up on a farm, he has always been interested in agriculture.
“My uncles farm and I’ve always loved working with the people in the ag field.”
A typical day of Tyler’s internship includes visiting farmers, riding with District Sales Managers, completing seed returns and deliveries and doing various agronomy work. One especially notable accomplishment he’s had while working for Producers Hybrids was flipping 250 seed boxes in only one hour!
Tyler will graduate from South Dakota State University in December 2017 with an agronomy degree. He hopes to live in Madison, South Dakota and pursue a career in the agricultural sales field.
