Intern of the Week: Ty Mangers
Ty Mangers is excelling as the Western Nebraska sales intern for Producers Hybrids this summer. With three years of agronomy schooling under his belt from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, Ty was ready to hit the ground running.
He spends his days riding with District Sales Managers, learning the ins and outs of the seed sales business.
“I really enjoy being able to travel to different areas of the state and seeing all the different management styles that each farmer has.”
Ty is looking forward to scouting fields and being more hands-on throughout the growing season this summer. In addition, Ty will be tending to a P3 trial and putting on a field day near his hometown of Hastings, Nebraska towards the end of his summer internship.
After Ty graduates from UNL in May of 2018 he hopes to obtain a career in agricultural sales, and eventually end up back home to take over the row-crop farm that he grew up on.
