Laura attends Iowa State University where she studies Agricultural Communications and Ag & Society. She focuses her studies on marketing and public relations in the agricultural sector, which is how she became the marketing intern for Producers Hybrids this summer.

Laura’s internship is unique, as it allows her to spend time in each region of Producers Hybrids country. She spends her days traveling with agronomists, interns and district sales managers, picking up knowledge from every corner of the countryside.

During a typical day of Laura’s internship, you may find her behind a camera, behind a computer or behind the wheel of her truck. She travels with each intern, taking pictures of them, as well as taking general photos for Producers Hybrids. She then writes feature stories about the interns as well as creating blog content related to her travels. Laura also helps manage the social media pages and creates content for print and email newsletters.

Laura is enjoying learning about everything from photography to agronomy during her time with Producers Hybrids and she looks forward to applying the knowledge she has gained at Producers Hybrids in her future career.
